About Vietnam Precision Industrial No. 1 Co., Ltd. (VPIC1)

Vietnam Precision Industrial No. 1 specialises in manufacturing and developing precision components to meet customers’ requirements worldwide.

At the time of the report, the company operated one factory at Khai Quang Industrial Park and another at Ba Thien II Industrial Park in Vinh Phuc. 

Its principal customers included BMW, Toyota, Honda, Yamaha and Ford. With approximately 4,000 employees, it produced stamped parts, frames and components for motorcycles and automobiles; aluminium and zinc die-cast parts; welded, plated and machined components; motorcycle body parts; and medical components and bed frames. Products were exported to Japan, the United States and France.

Drawing on more than 40 years of experience in precision engineering, the company had established and implemented management systems certified to ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 13485, as reported in the original article.

The VDA 6.5 product audit training project at VPIC1

To meet the requirements of major customers in the German automotive supply chain, VPIC1 implemented VDA 6.3 process audits and VDA 6.5 product audits.
