RBA consulting at Horn Vietnam

In December 2021, ITVC Global signed an RBA consulting contract with Horn (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. The project marked further progress for its RBA consulting team in the electronics supply chain.

About Horn Vietnam

Horn (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. manufactures silicon, digital and fibre microphones, speakers and headphones for customers including Microsoft, Dell, Sony and HP, alongside 500 major companies. The original company profile stated that the Horn Group had been among the top 100 electronic component manufacturers for the preceding four years.

Horn Vietnam’s factory at An Duong Industrial Park, Hai Phong, comprised three workshop buildings and employed more than 1,000 people at the time of the report.

Establishing and implementing an RBA social responsibility management system

In response to Dell’s requirements, Horn Vietnam implemented an RBA social responsibility management system. The project addressed labour, health and safety, environment, ethics and legal compliance, supporting a fair workplace that respects workers and their rights.

Following the consulting programme, the project successfully underwent assessment by Intertek.
