OHSAS 18001:2007 training at PVTEX

ITVC Global signed a contract for awareness and interpretation training on an occupational health and safety management system meeting OHSAS 18001:2007 requirements.

On 20 September 2015, ITVC Global signed an OHSAS 18001:2007 awareness and interpretation training contract with Dinh Vu Petrochemical and Fibre Joint Stock Company (PVTEX). The programme supported the factory’s staff in preparing to develop an occupational health and safety management system.

Programme focus

Understanding OHSAS 18001:2007 requirements in the context of factory operations.
Identifying hazards and risks in production activities.
Proactively developing measures to prevent and control occupational health and safety risks.

Value for the implementation team

Training provides a common foundation for staff and workers to understand their roles in the management system. During implementation, the company should connect learning with real tasks, assign responsibilities and monitor the execution of control measures.

This activity was recorded in 2015. ISO 45001:2018 replaced OHSAS 18001; the reference to “ISO 45001:2016” in the earlier article reflected expectations at that time. See the official ISO information.
