South Korea’s Yura Group has four operations in Vietnam, located in Hung Yen, Hai Duong and Ha Nam. Yura Harness Vietnam Co., Ltd. is the group’s fourth operation in Vietnam.

Yura Harness Vietnam specialises in automotive wires and electrical cables. Its factory was constructed and completed in 2021 at Chau Son Industrial Park, Phu Ly City, Ha Nam Province, Vietnam. The company has introduced modern production management technology, digitising production and inspection data at each process stage through an MES system to improve productivity, quality and product reliability.

About the IATF 16949 consulting project at Yura Harness Vietnam Co., Ltd.

In line with the group’s development strategy, Yura Harness Vietnam launched a project to establish and implement an IATF 16949 quality management system, demonstrating its strong commitment to quality management, product reliability and customer satisfaction. ITVC Global’s experienced, dedicated and responsible consulting team was selected to provide consulting services for the project.

The project schedule allowed seven months for completion, with the certification audit planned for November 2023. At the time of the update, supported by ITVC Global, Yura Harness’s team had completed the documentation and was implementing and operating the system. Initial results showed improved employee awareness and better coordination of processes, reducing defects and significantly improving customer satisfaction.

Building on successful IATF 16949 consulting projects for the Vinfast and Hyundai Thanh Cong supply chains, this project marked another milestone for ITVC Global and demonstrated its ability to serve the automotive supply chain.
