Five Core Tools training project at Varroc Lighting Systems Vietnam

In November 2020, Varroc Lighting Systems Vietnam selected ITVC Global to deliver the factory course “Understanding and applying the five Core Tools of IATF 16949”.

The five Core Tools covered in the historical programme

APQP — Advanced Product Quality Planning and Control Plan.
PPAP — Production Part Approval Process for series production.
FMEA — Potential Failure Mode and Effects Analysis. The course used AIAG–VDA FMEA, referred to as “version 5” in the original announcement.
MSA — Measurement System Analysis.
SPC — Statistical Process Control.

After the course, participants understood how to implement the five Core Tools in factory operations. The programme strengthened the cross-functional team’s knowledge, helping members understand the underlying concepts and apply the tools flexibly to the factory’s context and customer requirements.
