About Dream Plastic:

Dream Plastic Co., Ltd. is wholly Korean-invested and belongs to C&H Group. Starting with the development and manufacture of toys and other plastic products, C&H diversified into products made from fabric, oilcloth, steel and especially plastics. According to the original project report, the group comprised 14 subsidiaries in South Korea, Hong Kong, the United States, Japan, China and Vietnam. It had seven factories in Vietnam, located in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Tien Giang, Bao Loc in Lam Dong, Binh Phuoc and Chau Son Industrial Park in Ha Nam.

About the project:

As a major employer, Dream Plastic had implemented several programmes, including ICTI social responsibility requirements for toy manufacturers, GSV supply-chain security and social responsibility requirements, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

For the EICC project, covering five compliance modules, Dream Plastic adapted quickly and completed the planned activities under the guidance of ITVC Global’s consultants. The assessment by certification body BSI found that Dream Plastic met EICC requirements well, although some nonconformities required correction. With ITVC Global’s support, the company analysed their root causes and developed and implemented appropriate corrective actions.

Following the EICC consulting phase, Dream Plastic aimed to score above 90 in its next assessment and secure major orders from global groups, demonstrating business development alongside social responsibility compliance and fair competition.
