Energy audit at Tuan Anh Investment, Manufacturing and Trading

This report records the 2021 project. Figures, practices, factory scale and proposals reflect the survey period; they do not establish the factory’s current status.

Tuan Anh Investment, Manufacturing and Trading Joint Stock Company recorded total energy consumption of 1,239 TOE in 2020. Based on the factory survey, data collection and measurements, the project team considered the company to be using energy relatively efficiently.

Energy sources

The factory used two main energy sources:

• Electricity: used for electric motors, lighting and most production activities across the company.
• LPG: used for the thermal pressing oven on the compressed-fibre mattress production line and for factory cooking.

Proposed measures

Following the audit, ITVC Global proposed these energy-saving measures:

• Establish an energy management system based on ISO 50001:2018.
• Replace 85 W compact fluorescent lamps with 40 W cylindrical LED bulbs.
• Install a variable-speed drive for air compressor No. 02 (22 kW).
